JAMES T. CRANE, CPA
Chief Financial Officer

As CFO of The Monomoy Group, L.L.C., the General Partner to the Partnership, Mr. Crane is responsible for overseeing all financial and administrative matters, including those related to asset and portfolio management, capital formation, accounting, reporting and tax compliance.  

Concurrently, Mr. Crane serves as President of J. Crane & Company, P.C. – a professional services firm founded in June, 2006.  Prior to founding J. Crane & Company, P.C., Mr. Crane was a Partner at Baker, O’Connor and Sullivan, LLC from January 2005 until May 2006.  Mr. Crane provided accounting services as a sole proprietor of James T. Crane, CPA from September 1999 until January 2005.  Previously, Mr. Crane worked for an international accounting firm in Boston, Massachusetts.  Mr. Crane’s professional services focus on emerging businesses in the technology, real estate and services fields.  In addition to being frequently utilized for accounting, tax and business research and advisory needs, Mr. Crane provides SEC compliance services and debt and equity financial structuring services for private and public companies, venture capitalists, hedge funds and private equity firms.   

A Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts, Mr. Crane is a graduate of Bentley College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  Mr. Crane currently serves as a director of PlanetLink Communications, Inc., director of Improvisation Center of Boston, Inc. and as a director of the Cambridge Arts Council Fund Board.
